..For Jing..for Us….from Appleseeds.org
You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all she’s left.
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she’s gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back
or you can do what she’d want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Jings death has affected me so much.I guess kahit sino na mawalan ng mahal sa buhay would feel the same…at one point during jings burial i felt parang gusto ko naring sumunod..as if life is so meaningless…pero di pala dapat ganun..life must go on…i know my sister would want me to move on …ive come across these snippets of passages which struck me most…
- if you want to do something for someone you love, do it now, because you never know tomorrow, or the day after, he may not be around anymore."
- How flitting life is, how transitory; It’s comforting to know however, that for every sad event there are joyous ones to balance the scales; sometimes even to tip them in life’s favor.
- Being alive is already cause for celebration, especially in these times when there is so much uncertainty and you can never tell when your lease will expire.
- We’re all just leasing our space and time on Planet Earth, at the pleasure of our Landlord Who decides how long we can stay. Sometimes even when we pay our rent on time, we’re asked to moved out, and sometimes…we don’t even know why.
- So we must celebrate each year that adds itself to the rapidly growing pile, and try to live our lives as fully as we can. we should learn to measure time, not in years, but in the richness of how we live those years — the happy and good times, the sorrowful and bad times.
"Grieve for him, be sad, shed tears, but let there be hope in your grief, that he is at peace, that he’s happy where he is, that someday you’ll meet again…Let him go. Remember him with Love, but let him go."…im letting you go my sister…i know that you’re in a much better Place right now….a place where there’s no pain…a place called Heaven…so long Jing till we meet again and i will truly MISS YOU AND I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH…….edith/dang.
